Frequently Asked Questions

We use military grade encryption technology, as well as SSL technology, and SiteLock to make sure that the little customer information that we do house on our site (email, phone, and address), is as safe as it can be. If you have any futher issues, or have any questions, or comments, please contact us through our "Contact Us" page and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you again.

Does Miniature Army offer any warranties for their guns?

Yes, we include a lifetime warranty all of our custom handcrafted guns.  On all of the guns we make, we will fix or replace any that break or fail due to a manufactures defect, for as long as you own your pinfire gun. This does not include intentional abuse, misuse, or accidental breakage of these collectors items. However, we cannot warranty any of the antique, used, or guns from other manufactures, unless it is stated otherwise.

Can I really fire these guns?

Yes, all of our guns are meant to be fired, and produce less than 1 joule of energy, which is less than the average BB gun.

Can I change my order or cancel it?

Unfortunately, once you have placed your order it cannot be changed or cancelled. This is because our team picks and packs your order right away, and wraps all the orders together on pallets which are sealed for shipment regardless of when they actually ship.

What if I want to change the ship-to address?

Unfortunately, orders cannot be modified. For customer security, shipments must be sent to the address selected by the cardholder during purchase.

Are these considered Firearms or weapons?

No, according to the US ATFEB, these miniature guns are just considered signaling devices, just like a starter gun, or flare gun. Just as a 2X4 is a piece of wood, it is not considered a weapon unless it is used as such.  We do not advise anyone to ever use any of our Jewelry, watch fobs, guns, collectibles, or whatever it is to you, as a weapon.

Do I need any special license, or permit to own one of these?

No, in the 1950's these were sold at convenience and soda stores to kids, just like cap guns are today. Because they are not firearms, and the 2mm blanks are not considered ammunition, these have never been considered firearms or weapons.  As a matter of fact, the US Coast Guard requires boating vessels to be equipped with several types of safety equipment, including flares. Although the flare guns that we sell are not US Coast Guard approved, they can be used for safety in any circumstance that they may need to be used such as boating, biking, hiking, skiing, hunting, or backpacking.

Do we purchase miniature pinfire guns?

Yes, if you have a new, or antique miniature pinfire gun, or any other type gun that you see on our website, we are probably interested in purchasing your miniature gun. We also offer consignment for customers, which may pay them more for their item, but may take a longer time.

How does it work, if I want to sell my miniature gun to you?

Just ask us via our email found on our contact us page.

What if I have a miniature pinfire gun and just want to know how much it is worth?

Just ask us via our email found on our contact us page. We DO NOT sell Weapons or Firearms of  ANY KIND. We DO sell some of the most incredible little guns in the WORLD. ALL of the items that we sell on this website are Collectors Items. NONE of the items we sell are considered firearm by the US ATFEB.

We ship all of our items worldwide, and have NEVER had a problem with deliveries in any country.

We were founded in 2008 after eBay banned all 2mm Pinfire Guns Xythos, and Berloques from being sold on their site.

Unfortunately, we can only offer an exchange or store credit for items that are purchased as used or antique, items that are purchased new, and then are used, or after the 3 day period, and are returned in the same condition as they are shipped, due to the nature of these items. Any return requests that are made after 14 days from the date that you received your order, are the sole consideration of the seller.  We do sell items on consignment, so Pinfire Guns USA, Inc. may not always be considered the seller of the items sold.

We have THOUSANDS of pinfire guns that have not been posted online for sale yet, so if you don't see what you want, ask us.

To find what the shipping cost for each order would be, the easiest way is to put the items in your cart, and start the checkout process.  Once you get to the point where you can select the shipping service that you prefer, you will see the actual cost listed.  Our shipping rates are pulled directly from the USPS.com website for USPS Priority mail shipping, and USPS Express Priority mail shipping services.  We normally use one of the flat rate Priority mail shipping services, both domesticlly, and internationally

The shipping charge is based on the size and weight of the items that you order, and where the item is being shipped.  However, we now offer FREE shipping for orders that are over $1,000.00.

Always Take Care when handling miniature guns! Always use eye/hand/reasonable body protection if firing any type of rounds-blanks or otherwise. These may be small, but they can cause damage - even the loudness of the sound can be startling. These are NOT TOYS and should never be used by or around children. These should not be treated nor thought of as TOYS or a benign item by anyone! These can cause harm if used or misused, so care and protection are paramount by users, bystanders, anyone or anything in proximity!

For our Customers Safety, we are including the Four Rules of Gun Safety:

Treat all guns as if they are always loaded. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

We do respond to requests to consider trades &/or direct purchases, as well as to those simply seeking information/value of their mini guns. Please understand we are a retail-seller and although we work hard to represent the hobby of miniature gun collecting fairly and honorably, we can't offer retail value for direct purchases and trades. We want everyone to be happy with their participation in collecting these amazing miniatures, and in doing business with us. We respect if you want to keep your mini gun or sell it through other means-or are simply seeking feedback, but we ask your kind consideration when asking us to consider acquiring your item to understand we will only be able to stay in business if we do so at a more wholesale-level. We have to put in money and our staff's time and other resources to turn-around and sell anything we acquire. Additionally, we focus the majority of our efforts on customer orders and customer service and ask your patience in understanding that each of these requests requires the time and assessment by a staff member with the appropriate expertise. Please be patient with us as we may not be able to respond as quickly as you'd like to initial requests for assessment or considering acquiring your mini gun. We are always working to increase our staff to meet business demands, but hope you will be patient with us for these types of requests for the time being. If we do agree to acquiring an item, we will provide shipping instructions and ask that they are always insured and sent signature required - for the sender's protection. We can't be liable for packages we don't receive (although rare, it can happen - please insure the item(s) that you send us. We always need to assess items in-person before we can make a final decision to finalize our remote assessment, but if there is an infrequent discrepancy, we will happily pay to return ship your item-also insured and signature required to ensure it arrives back to you safely.

We try to treat EVERY customer as if they are our family, and always strive to offer the highest quality products and services to our customers.
